Thanks for sharing RingingEars! Gotta try that sometime soon. Any Tube Amps and accompanying DAC in particular you guys would recommend with the HD 800? I've only heard these headphones through the HDVD 800 and I'm absolutely floored at how good they perform. What specifically makes Tube Amps...

These headphones are amazing!

  I'm sure everything will work out fine for you, man. But ya, these things really do scale well! I'm running it in balanced mode with the HDVD 800 and love the sound! I'm a little curious how the HD 800's compare with the same amp in balanced mode, but as of now... I'm really enjoying it!

Are you referring to a USB-SPDIF Bridge? What's the benefit of these? Wouldn't using the Coax SPDIF on the dec be just as good?

I heard the Audeze LCD-3's are better for Alternative Rock, but was just wondering what your opinion is too before moving onto the rig setup. I'll definitely take the Mjolnir into consideration then!
