    The JVC HARX 700/900 and the Creative Aurvana Live all have great bass for $60 or less. The JVCs are extremely comfortable and durable, which I can't say about the Creatives.

    The JVC HARX700s are truly exceptional. You can usually get them for $35 if you look around. I've also seen the Superlux 681s recommended at this price range, but bear in mind that these are open headphones and won't block any outside sounds.
