Any idea how they'd pair with Ultrasone Pro 900 specifically? I know the can be found for much less but they retail for around $550.

Would it make sense to pair the higher end Asgard with the Modi? I don't have the budget to go any higher than the Modi but I am able to go one tier above the Magni. I'm just wondering if the Modi would "degrade" the chain making the Asgard pointless.    I'm currently using a Fiio E7. Would...

Not sure how I feel about Senns. In the past I've loved their products but I do tend to prefer a more colored signature than is typical with Sennheiser. 

I'm seriously leaning towards Grados (the Sr325is blew me away), but it's hard to find them for a price below retail.    In terms of budget, I'm looking for something ~$250. 

I'm looking for some cans to compliment my Pro 900s. I love these things to death and they suit many of my listening needs (which mostly include metal). They are hands-down the best set for electronic music so I'm covered there. But I do want another pair of cans for the less bassy metal...

Any metal lovers with Pro 900s here? I just crafted a playlist of metal songs that sound particularly fantastic on these headphones. 

Anyone have any test tracks to really show the full potential of these cans? Genre doesn't matter.

Unfortunately I don't have them to compare but the Pro 900s seem to have an even wider sound stage than my old open back HD 518s? Is this even possible?

Actually, according to this Ultrasone increased the warranty to 5 years for all headphones purchased after Jan. 1st 2010.
