    25W amp for a 100W speaker?

Sorry for a noob question, but would a 25W amp be able to drive a pair of 100W speakers? I'm looking to buy the Klipsch RB-61 II http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-Reference-Series-Bookshelf-Loudspeakers/dp/B0040LRI96 and I'm also attracted to the topping vx-1...

Thanks, that looks great! Although the amp is a bit pricey, I like that it also has a headphone jack so I'd just need that one for both speakers and headphones.

TURNTABLE SETUP Questions thread - don't start a new thread, ASK YOUR QUESTION HERE!

My budget for the amp is under $40. And at this point I'm considering getting cheap speakers (~$100/pair) instead and use those for now. Any good ones exist? My headphones are ATH M50 and a pair of se215's, and I was planning on using both. Is there an amp that has multiple outputs for RCA and...

I see. And should any headphone amp work for this? Even something like fiio e6?

TURNTABLE SETUP Questions thread - don't start a new thread, ASK YOUR QUESTION HERE!

Hi everyone, I'm going to be getting my first turntable soon, and am planning on listening to it through my headphone (before I accumulate enough money for nice speakers), my question is what exactly do I need in between the turntable itself and the headphones? Would just a preamp (something...

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

Hey Joker, I have a question about hifiman re262's. I will not be using an amp, but everyone says that you need one for these. Will they sound better or as good as some other choices in the price range, like turbine pro golds or EPH-100, considering I won't be using an amp? Just how much SQ do...

Shure Se215 vs Sony XBA-3 vs Yamaha EPH-100

Thank you all. How do they compare to monster turbine pro gold? They would be just slightly more expensive.

Monster Turbines Pro Gold vs Shure Se215

So the sale is over, but the turbines are still 50 dollars more than the Shures. Are they worth that much more?

Monster Turbines Pro Gold vs Shure Se215

Hey, so I'm getting new IEMs, and I was quite interested in Shures, but there is a lightning sale coming up on amazon in a few hours, that should get the turbines very close to that price. Which sounds better? Which is more balanced? What about the build quality?

Shure Se215 vs Sony XBA-3 vs Yamaha EPH-100

Do you know when exactly they are coming?

Shure Se215 vs Sony XBA-3 vs Yamaha EPH-100

Title says it all. I listen to practically everything, and what I'm mostly looking for in sound is richness, soundstage, and overall handling of all sounds, as well as good build quality. I can get them for a fairly similar price, so that's not really a factor.

[SOLVED - PURCHASED PFE 121] SHURE SE215 vs ETYMOTIC HF5 vs Klipsch Image S4i II/ Klipsch Reference S4i

I can't quite help you decide as I'm currently picking a pair for myself from a similar list. What you might find interesting is the klipsch x10, their most expensive iem, is just 130 on amazon, so similar price range, and probably better than any other headphone klipsch makes.

Shure se215 or Klipsch x10? Anything better than those in the price range?

Shure se215 or Klipsch x10? Anything better than those in the price range?

Hey guys, so I need to get a new pair of IEMs, and after some research I am quite interested in the shure se215, until I saw the incredible sale on amazon of the x10, for just $130, as their regular price is $350. The Shures are a $100, so since they are now both at the same price range, which...
