Are there any reports of Logitech replacing defective UE900 sets with UE900s?

I currently have the Dunu DN-1000 and find them too sibilant. Reading through the massive IEM comparison thread I noticed the Brainwavz B2/Fischer DBA-02. Can anyone comment on how sibilant these are? In particular if someone can compare to the DN-1000 that would be great.

Are these a good deal for $265? Or are there better headphones in that price range for around that price?   I'm looking for something that has less sibilance than my Dunu DN-1000's without killing all the detail in the high end.

Makes sense, you can only be "so good" at converting a digital signal to analog. If a $2 chip can do it without significant distortion, it won't sound worse than a $200 chip.

I'm kind of curious... is there a particular method to use a pre-amp? Or is it kind of just equalizing every frequency?

I would be very interested in a comparison. I think a lot of other people would be as well. From what I've read the Fidelio has been pitched as great jack-of-all-trades type headphones, so I'm interested in seeing how it compares to a modded HE-400.

I never got the chance to try out the G930, but I got a PLYR 1 based on the Head Fi summer buying guide. The sound is fantastic, just make sure you can output audio over optical to the base. The USB is only for charging/mic. But the sound is amazing.
