    Girlfriend is looking for headphones

I have to agree with krash3x the v-moda m-100s are the best possible match. They have them in an excellent white color and they are super great for electronic music and they have a kicking bass! The m-80s are a possible choice too.

    Need help deciding on headphones!!!

Oh my bad I hadn't seen your budget, these would go over. Anyways for your specification I might recommend you keep in-ear headphones as option. They are great at keeping music to yourself no matter how loud and your likely to get Better sound quality for the money

    Need help deciding on headphones!!!

I listen to mostly rock but also metal frequently. I would recommend the v-moda m-80 as a strong choice. They sound excellent with metal and they pack great bass, bass is v-modas specialty. They are only on-ear headphones but they seem like a good match for you.

Looking for very good noise-isolating comfortable over-ear cans

Also, since you said you don't need the highest quality audio, consider looking at noise canceling headphones along side isolating.

Looking for very good noise-isolating comfortable over-ear cans

Hmm a lot of reviewers have said they have impressive isolation. Although, they are in form factor similar to the cross fades lp so there's a chance they would be similar. If your curious you could test drive them since v-moda has a 60 day test drive guarantee. Hmmm it's too bad In ears don't...

    .

It seems to me that for a lot of people using google music is the best choice. Since it uploads your songs as they are,it should keep the quality the same. Also you should consider spotify. It cost less than buying a cd once a month and it works on nearly any device at all anywhere. I thinking a...

Looking for very good noise-isolating comfortable over-ear cans

Since you enjoyed the cross fades, I would think the v-moda m-100s would be a great match. They follow everything on your specifications and as a bonus have stellar sound quality. They are a bit on the pricy side though. I would also recommend taking a look at the audio technica ath- m50s.

Noob in need of opinions on noise isolating headphones

I don't have much experience with those two but I would recommend keeping the ATH m50 in the picture, they are great headphones and offer great audio.

Noob in need of opinions on noise isolating headphones

As a fellow rock fan and jazz musician, I can't in good heart recommend the v-moda cross fade LP. Don't get me wrong I own them and they are incredible, but they are bass heavy and engineered toward dance club music and the style doesn't lean well towards rock or jazz. Although I must recommend...

lp vs lp2? is there a difference

To offer a little more help, the m-80s are ranked #6 here on headfi. I personally am a big fan of them. Also they are selling at $160 on amazon right now and that's a great deal. Let us know what you pick in the end

lp vs lp2? is there a difference

Generally speaking here, the LP and lp2 are bass empowering. Even more than the studios. But you must understand the LP and lp2 are designed for DJs and specifically tuned more towards dance club music. I own the LP and in my listening experience they tend to shallow out the mids and highs in...

lp vs lp2? is there a difference

The original LP has very strong bass, overpowering even. The LP2 is supposed to offer a more balanced sound somewhat similar to the m-80s. That's the only real difference I know of
