I've narrowed this down to the exact scenario and is repeatable: - 2 Bluetooth connections to the UP5 at start up, iPhone and Apple watch - Walk away from the Apple watch far enough such that it disconnects - Intermittent beeping starts immediately and lasts approximately 10 minutes

Nothing has changed as far as I know. I’ll try it with my M8 tomorrow to see what happens.

Recently, after turning my UP5 on and connecting to an iPhone there are two audible fast-beeps about every 60 seconds which continues for about 5-10 minutes and then stops. This happens regardless of how fully charged the battery is. It only occurs when music is playing. Firmware version 1.6.3...

This is a far too common occurrence for me as well, mostly with the Shanling player, but sometimes (rarely) with UAPP, which is what I use exclusively now to avoid the problem for the most part. It's quite disappointing.

FYI, I contacted them through the lightharmonic.com website on 1/7 and received one Stella and one Mera on 1/10 via their exchange program. Amazingly fast turnaround.

I’ve had my M8 now for a few weeks and absolutely love it! One issue I have is when I turn it on and it comes up in Android mode, I immediately switch to Prime mode and the volume is very low even at max volume. A reboot fixes it with volume back to normal. I have the latest firmware loaded.

Really intrigued by the M8. Same DAC chips as the AKsp2k. I know I lose lots of onboard memory and probably a better processor but I really only care about the sound. Is there a significant drop in sound quality from AKsp2k to M8? Can’t imagine its a $2000 difference based on Black Friday...
