I just posted a picture, you can see 6 presets and 2 custom spots in it. Your picture of Sound Me shows total 5, 2 are in Japanese.

Gilroypro, Did you happen to see my post about the EQ presets in your picture of Sound me app, a few pages back? Could it be you downloaded from a site other than US Google Play store?

I downloaded the AVIOT Sound Me app to a Sony Xperia phone and the Sound Me app works as it should on it. Strange then for why the M300 won't open the Sound Me app? HiBy rep Joe Blogs used to monitor this thread, do you still?....any information from any source (pun) is appreciated.

It is available for Andriod. I using a HiBy M300 DAP and a Sony Xperia cell as sources for the ZX1. Sound Me works on the Sony, not on the HiBy. I believe it is a setting in the HiBy and, therefore source-dependent in this case. I've posted for help on the M300 site....no joy yet.

The ZX1 is set on the Sound Me app’s Vocal Preset. I’m listening from 3 different sources, different apps, and different EQ on the 3. Which is best? I keep playing with the settings. And then there’s the PNK coming which has slightly different tuning. Should be fun keeping things separate.

That’s true I’m using a Sony Xperia for this reason. I’m only interested in BT so a phone with Android 14 running the latest Codecs works perfect for me. BUT FOR a balanced connection and an expansion memory slot, the choices are down to a very few.

It took 3 days for the TE~Z1, they were in stock. The ZX1 PNK are not in stock they will ship sometime in May. My guess 1st half.

Whatever you do please be careful. Take it from me, once you damage your hearing, you can not repair it based on today's medical tech. It's a one-and-done, no do-over.
