Cheap Volume Control Cables on eBay?
I want one because I've read that you can remove hissing with them. Turn the volume down on the cable until there's no more hissing, then turn the volume up on the source (e.g. computer). Radio Shack is selling them for about $10 which seems like a complete ripoff. ...- bukujutsu

Has anything come out that's better than the HD668Bs for the price?
The SR850s too, since they're rebranded, but with only one cord, no removeable cord, and the impedance is 32 ohm instead of 56. The SR850s are 34$ on eBay, the HD668Bs are $50. There are so many headphones out there and as the time goes by things can go unnoticed. Some...- bukujutsu

IEMs too sensitive? GR06s hiss with multiple things. Do I need an impedance adapter?
They're rated as having 24 ohm impedance. Is that too low? Devices they hiss with: Samsung Vibrant (Galaxy S), stock laptop realtek headhpone jack, Asus Xonar U3 USB sound card. They don't hiss with my Sansa Fuze, though. Why is this? Should I buy an impedance adapter? According to...- bukujutsu

GR07 - Tips Thread
The largest ones seems to fit me the best, the purple and light blue/green (can't tell), which seem to be the same. The ones with foam inside and the grey ones definitely don't sound as clear. I press the tips all the way down onto the piece. I press on the corner, marked 1, to get...- bukujutsu

Want to bypass hissing on laptop and maybe Galaxy S. USB sound card/DAC under $50?
I saw a review of the hifiman on here and the reviewer said they sounded too warm. Anyone have any experience with the Turtle Beach pr Creative X-Fi USBs? http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Soundblaster-Audio-System-SB1290/dp/B0044DEDC0/ref=dp_cp_ob_e_title_0 ...- bukujutsu

Vsonic GR06 Review
Is there something like TB-EZQ that's free? What sounds card does your computer have? Oh, I just modded the gray foam tips that came with them, they sound great! The opening of the tips needs to sit flush with the surface of the microphone to sound right, try pulling them ALL the way down...- bukujutsu

Vsonic GR06 Review
I've also noticed that foam significantly degrades sound quality. The ones that came attached seem to be best for me. Make sure the tips are all the way down and that the thing you can angle is angled properly. For me it was all the way forward that fit best in my ear canal. I wonder how these...- bukujutsu

My IEMs are the Vsonic Gr06s. I definitely prefer a technical/analytical sound as opposed to warm sounding.I don't need an amp. Any recomendations?- bukujutsu

Will a FIIO E6 remove hiss?
I really just want to avoid hissing on my laptop. Any reason why I shouldn't use a usb soundcard, perhaps something like this or Turtle Beach? http://www.amazon.com/HiFiMan-HM-101-Portable-Sound-Card/dp/B0066AHES4/ref=sr_1_8?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1340301495&sr=1-8&keywords=usb+dac- bukujutsu

Will a FIIO E6 remove hiss?
I received my Vsonic GR06s a few days ago and they're great with a Sansa Fuze, but with my laptop and Galaxy S there's a distinct hissing sound. It's probably a hardware problem. Will the FIIO E6 deal with this? If not, what will that costs under $50?- bukujutsu

Vsonic GR06 Review
I get hiss from my samsun vibrant (galaxy s) and laptop (stock soundcard). The soundcards in these probably aren't great. Should I buy an impedance adapter? http://www.ebay.com/itm/ETYMOTIC-ER4P-TO-ER4S-RESISTOR-ADAPTOR-3-5MM-PLUG/290372905689#ht_3685wt_1037- bukujutsu
