    I have these, and for travel/flights/subway-in-Korea they beat out all my other headphones in terms of comfort and ease.     I don't have the Mad Dogs around (though I'm eying the Alpha Dogs with a certain gleam in my eyes...) so I can't comment on that. In the future I'll sit down again with the HD650/LCD2/DX700 and check the separation on a few different genres. ^^
