    just went to Fiio's site and got a note there that they're using "ALPS sealed low noise potentiometer" if thats the case then having scratchy pots should be very minimal considering their sealed..  :(

    yup kinda like the superlux HD681.. im glad that samson released it in all black.. so far im happy with the purchase. great built and im still trying to compare it with other headphones i have... out of the box it sounds great.. no amp needed to drive these headphones..

    thanks Lord Mike... i upgraded the foam pads with slightly thick Plantronics Pads.. they're very comfy now.. they sound so wonderful considering its a 15 year old headphones.. i sold my Px100 because of this headphones.. I'm taking good care of it now..

    i used to own a Philips Hp200 same as the hp250 minus long cord and inline volume control.. only lasted with me for around 3 days.. the bass was too boomy for me so i returned it.. im not quite sure about the SHP895 havent bought it yet..
