So since my pads are in pretty bad shape and headband too (no foam) I've looked for new pads and found out about Brainwavz velour pads as some people say it's more confortable than the originals and cheaper. With black friday some headphones caught my eye and I thought why not buy new ones...

Hmm, i see. It annoys me, always doing that.   So Im thinking of buying a fiio e10, not only because i dont need to have this care, of unplug and plug, but because i heard it have a good synergy with the DT 990 PRO's. But Im not sure if its better than the bravo with a vintage mullard tube...

Do i really need to unplug the hp's before turning OFF the amp, as well as, first turn ON the amp then plug the hp's?

This problem started yesterday. First i thought it was the amp (bravo audio v2) but to be sure i tried connecting the hp's directly on the soundcard and then on the onboard sound and then on the phone. All got the same problem so its the headphones.   I think the title says it all, the sound...

Bought today a RCA Cable instead the 3.5 to 3.5mm i was using and when i was playing i noticed that the sound was all messed up, like the sounds that suposed to come from the left i was listening them on the right side of the headphones. I removed the audio enhancers programs i was using...

I received today one of this amp's and im extremely regretful of having bought it. There's a very loud buzz noise and almost cant hear the music.   Can anyone help?

But excluding all those technologies (dolby headphone etc) will be there an audible difference between them?  

I am thinking of buying a xonar dx to replace the xtreme gamer but wondered if it's worth the money invested.   there will be significant improvements in sound that are worth or will be almost the same?   I'll be using the DT 990 PRO and a bravo audio v2 (that still not arrived).

Just a heads up. After reading a lot, reading opinions from many people I finally ordered the DT 990 pro's. And will buy a E11 later on.   I want to thank everyone for the help, especially to PurpleAngel.

The frequencies ranges are pretty different. I dont know if that makes a huge difference but if it does then the dt's win.   FA-011   Frequency range: 18 - 22,000 Hz   DT 990   Frequency range: 5 - 35,000 Hz

Im currently reading about those ones (Fischer Audio FA-011) but do they beat the DT 990 pro's?

Should i buy the Fiio E11 (more than 50€+shipping taxes) or buy the Xonar DG (for 30€ and its available on a local store) ? Am I gonna notice difference between them? apart from the volume knob which is really handy. I'm undecided if it's worth spending more.
