This problem started yesterday. First i thought it was the amp (bravo audio v2) but to be sure i tried connecting the hp's directly on the soundcard and then on the onboard sound and then on the phone. All got the same problem so its the headphones.

I think the title says it all, the sound is almost gone, i can only hear some background sounds but if i touch the hp's jack the sound comes normal and if i release it the sound comes to the initial state.

I dont know if it was my fault since i always connect the headphones after turning ON the amp and disconnect before turning it OFF.

What can i do?

Well, since you state that it sounds normal when you fiddle with the headphone plug, and because you tested the headphones with other sources, it makes me think it might be something with the headphone plug, and the wires inside. I had this happen to a pair of SE-50's. I just unscrewed the plug, and luckily they were screwed connections so I could just re-attach the wires and all was good.

What I'm saying is, you might need to replace the plug on the headphones.
