    Grado 325i's + Liberators = NICE!

Just installed a set of Liberators on my 325i's and I must say I'm impressed. I was beginning to think the 325i's weren't for me, but the Liberators have really made a difference. Using the standard bowls, the sound is pretty much still in your face, but with some extra breathing room. Think of...

    Shure E500PTH vs. Super Triple.fi 10 Pro

I, like Trogdor, have been listening to both. I've had the E500s for a few months now and the Triple.fi's for only a few hours. I agree that the TFs sound more balanced with not one area of the sound spectrum receiving more or less attention. They sound great and, at this early stage, to my...

Pretty nice so far. I'm auditioning them as I type this. I'll have some better impressions after a few hours. But so far, so good. Very even presentation with a very full sound. The new roadie case is a pretty nice addition as well. Again, kudos to UE for getting these out as soon as...

    shure m5??

I don't believe Shure has an earphone named the m5. There's the E5c's and E500's. Not sure (no pun intended) about an m5.

Noob intro and Sennheiser 650 query.

Not to totally rain on your parade or anything, but the 650s are opened headphones and sound "leaks" quite a bit from them, especially at louder volumes. Perhaps you should look into a pair of sealed phones for gaming - that way your significant other will be able to sleep even more soundly!

Hey DarkWolf, I'm glad to hear that you're digging your 325i's. You and I were sort of fighting over a pair last week in the For Sale forum (I snagged a pair before you had a chance to check the forum during your lunch break) At any rate, I'm really liking mine too (also just received mine...

    is headroom&earphonesolutions reliable??

I've purchased more than a few sets of IEMs from Falvio at EarPhoneSolutions and cables and such from Headroom. Both are great to buy from and their support and communication before, during, and after the sale are outstanding.

How much do the Senn 580's benefit from the Cardas cable upgrade?

Or any cable upgrade, for that matter. I'm curious and feeling upgradeitus again. Anyone made the upgrade on their 580's? Any major improvement? Would it be better to save the $185.00 - $235.00, sell the 580's and upgrade to the 650 with stock cables???

o.O Wow.. Every once in a while I am amazed...

A recent track I've been using to audition cans is "The Collector" by Nine Inch Nails, off their With Teeth record (the latest). It starts off with some pretty serious and tight kick and snare. Really tests your cans (and it's a mighty good song to boot)!
