Are there any MDR-CD3000 replacement drivers available? I'm currently refurnishing it with new pads and headband but the local Sony service center doesn't seems to be able to find the drivers part. In addition, would the MDR-SA5000 be a natural upgrade path? Cheers!

Recently notice some distortion especially when listening to some female vocal or piano music. Switched to the RCA output and to my surprise, the distortion was gone. Anyone experienced this or have any idea on the problem?
