Sony MDR-CD3000 replacement parts

Are there any MDR-CD3000 replacement drivers available? I'm currently refurnishing it with new pads and headband but the local Sony service center doesn't seems to be able to find the drivers part.

In addition, would the MDR-SA5000 be a natural upgrade path?
