The PANASONIC RP-HTF600-S headphones. More fun than the HD650?
Let's put it this way...I have the Senn HD600 and bought two pairs of the Pana's...the sound is that good. I changed the earpads on one and kept the other as stock pad. Highly recommed....- georgio

Reply to review by 'georgio' on item 'Panasonic RP-HTF600-S Step Monitor'
Thanks for the great review. These are great hp's. At the risk of dating myself, I have to say that I've always like the sound signature of Panasonic. Back when everyone was using Pioneer and Marantz mid-fi amplifiers, I was using Technics products. Always found them to be more rewarding. Too...- georgio

Is Linux "Bit Perfect", and how do you play audio there
Thanks for the reply. Seems like Audiacious and Aqualung are the two with which I've had the most success. I frequently use Debian and Debian Mint so it seems like the versions of most of the other programs are older. Normally I would go ahead and upgrade the dependency packages, but I think...- georgio

These are especially great for fast paced, bass laden and older rock.... I find myself really...- georgio

Is Linux "Bit Perfect", and how do you play audio there
I found another interesting link here that relates to the topic: http://www.head-fi.org/t/561961/bit-perfect-audio-from-linux I tried DeaDBeef, too. It works pretty well, but in my case it didn't give me as much flexibility in choosing the output. The only choices it allowed for...- georgio

Is Linux "Bit Perfect", and how do you play audio there
Over the weekend I discovered a 10 year old Echo Indigo PCMCIA card and popped it into one of my Ubuntu 10.10 laptops. Now, I know this card has big limitations but it managed to get me to this forum so I'm grateful for the introduction. Anyway, I was following the Linux-related info and...- georgio
