No, you buy the ones in the listing and replace the horseshoe clips with Frank88's. The clips slide out of the end of the hooks.- Sir Metal

I've heard this said a lot, has Audeze done any official testing? For example Micro USB is rated for 10,000 insertions minimum, but would love to see if any exists for the 0.78mm 2-pin connector on the iSINEs.- Sir Metal

Yep, I don't know how open the LCD-2C's are, but the iSINEs block about as much noise as my HD6XX's, which is basically nothing!- Sir Metal

Has anyone had an issue with the stock cable (non-Cipher) whereby a harline fracture develops on the connector? I could swear they weren't there the other day... https://imgur.com/a/cwBOnjn *Edit*, can confirm they weren't there the other day when I took this photo... https://imgur.com/a/L85jSbY- Sir Metal

If anyone has not heard these amped, I'd highly recommend doing so. Using an external DAC from my source PC, being fed into an O2 amp really brings the bass alive. These things get lowwww! Don't forget to use the Audeze Reveal plugin!- Sir Metal

Rank the IEM's you've heard
Audeze iSINE 20 > Shure SE846 > Sennheiser IE8 > Brainwavz B2 > UE Triple.fi 10 Pro > Sennheiser CX 870 > Sony MH-EX300AP > Brainwavz R1 > Sony MDR-EX77 > Sony MDR-EX310- Sir Metal

Shure SE846 Impressions Thread
They still hold up well: world-class bass for an IEM, and lush fluid mids. The treble leaves a lot to be desired, although some people prefer the more laid-back signature of these. Honestly, I wouldn't pay full price for them now, but if you enjoy them does it really matter?- Sir Metal

What's so wrong with Shure SE215s?
If you're happy with them, don't question it; that leads to doubt and buyer's remorse. To answer your question: it's not that there's anything wrong with them, and they were certainly an excellent choice some years back, but the market has been saturated recently by better sounding in-ears at...- Sir Metal

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
The Shure house sound makes voices sound sublime... so fluid. I do miss the smooth and detailed midrange on the 846s, the highs were the real no/no for me though- Sir Metal

Actually I think you're right. The better detail I hear in the 20s is instantly diminished the moment any background noises happen, for example a desk fan. It's a good thing I do the bulk of my listening in bed before I sleep.- Sir Metal

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
It's odd how everyone seems to hear the 20s differently. I've also owned both the 20s and 846s and the 20s by far are the most detailed. Its timbre is also fantastic. The 846s sound very personal and slightly congested, but are spatially very good like you said, and detail is also good, however...- Sir Metal

Well I've had both. I expected to be wowed by the SE846s, but wasn't. I payed half as much for the iSINE 20s and they wowed me. The sense of detail, openness and instrument separation is unparalleled in comparison to other IEMs. In fact you can't put these in the same class as IEMs; they're...- Sir Metal

I too use Comply with BA IEMS but with the IE8s I prefer the Sony Hybrids. They look like a standard silicone ear tip but they have foam under the silicone.- Sir Metal

Well it took just 75 minutes for Audeze to reply (wow!). Apparently the support rep has this behaviour with his personal set of iSINE 20s which he uses every day, and it's nothing to worry about. That takes about 80% of my worry away, but I'm willing to trust their advice on this one.- Sir Metal
