Hello, I don't think the banding issue will be fixed. Because the issue is also on all TV Oled. All the Oled panel TV in the market are manufactured by LG Display. Some has less or more banding.

With Silver cable you have thinner and dryer sound. More impact in low. More detail and separation. If you like warm and thicker sound go with copper

IMO you should go with copper Litz or hybrid cable. But definitely not pure Silver. The Silver Widow and Silver Poison have some % of gold to not sound to bright like pure silver. You will save money if you go with the Toxic black Widow.

Actually Toxic Cable Silver Widow 24 pairing with Liquid carbon and as dac Chord Mojo. So it's not a bright setup.

It seems the new lcd2 fazor 2016 doesn't match with a Silver cable. The voice is a little bit grainy. Will try later with the stock cable. If i could also swap the stocks pads to vegan pads. Regards

You are all right for the difference between the 2 versions. The last lcd2f 2016 is better than the 2014 in every areas but the 2016's is not better for voice, the high mid seems brighter. The 2014's is smoother and more relaxing IMO. +1 The last fazor is more balanced and go to a neutral side.

Listened in the shop and amped with a Chord mojo. The Focal Elear has a good bass and extension not as deep than any lcd2f but really good impact and balanced. Medium is a little forward than my lcd2f 2016 with Siver cable. And sounds very clean. Treble is a little rolled off. The soundstage is...
