Opinion on this DAC Maverick Audio TubeMagic D1 Plus
Looking to buy a stand alone DAC instead of using a sound card with headphones. Was looking at ODAC, Schiit, and others... I don't need anything crazy expensive, but reliable and will sound great still. How is this DAC? http://www.mav-audio.com/base/product/tube_magic_d1 Maverick...- Picard

FiiO DAC\AMP VS Sound Card : Help Would Be Much Appreciated.
Hello(sorry i this is the wrong forum area), I've been wanting to do a mATX PC with SLI, but I cannot do that with a sound card so I wanted to know what my best options are: I have a titanium HD right now and I only use entertainment mode with stereo for gaming, and music; I don't like...- Picard

Important Question Reciever VS Sound Card
@PurpleAngel I'm using the A900X from Audio Technica. That is a great deal too, darn. I just spend 600 on a new GPU and SSD, no money for the receiver for a few weeks. @NamelesPFG Yeah, the Titanium HD might have to be kept for gaming. @proton007 What would...- Picard

Reviever + Headphones?
I just got the A900x today and deciding on what to upgrade and change next for my setup, but I've been stuck figuring out what my best option would be. For starters I game, watch movies, and listen to music on my PC. My idea is to run audio through my GPU via HDMI directly to a receiver...- Picard

I think I might prefer closed over open so I'm not bothering others too. I'm using the Z5500 Logitech 5.1 surround sound speaker system that I have had for ages, want to get an actual speaker system with receiver later on though. I will wait a couple weeks to see more reviews and make my...- Picard

Is the difference between the AD900 and the Sennheiser HD598 significant in terms of warmth? The HD598 looks less comfortable to wear as well to me.- Picard

Need help choose getting new headphones.
Hi, I am new here so help would be appreciated. So, I originally planed to purchase a Razer Tiamat 7.1 gaming headset and then read they will sound like crap with their drivers and their 7.1 is a gimmick. I am a PC gamer, I watch movies, TV shows, and listen to soundtracks, I would...- Picard
