grado sr60 upgrade
Quote: i have never listned to them but i thought that the dt770 had a recessed midrange- which i do not like at all- and unless their is a sale the hd598 is too far out of my price range. o, i forgot to mention that i am uncomfortable buying used products.- qwerty99

hi, im looking to upgrade from my grado sr60s. i listen to mostly rock but a little bit of rap and pop mixed in. my budget is around $150 but it can be expanded a little if a lower end amp is needed. they will be powered by my pc.- qwerty99

hi, im looking for headphones that will be used for 75% rock and 25% rap. i need them to be closed. my budget is $150 but it can be expanded a little. i like forward mids and a good amount of bass (similar amount as the ath m50 provides). if their is nothing that is good for both, then...- qwerty99

amp for re262
hi, i understand that the re262 is an iem but i heard that it doesn't sound so good unless you have an amp to help power it, if not then let me know so i dont spend the extra money. my budget is $50 but i will expand it a little if a sub-$50 amp is not good enough.- qwerty99

ath m50 vs. srh440
hi, i have been doing research around the forum but i couldn't find a satisfying answer. should i get an srh440 or ath m50? i listen to rock music, and it sounds great on the grado sr60 but their was no isolation. so which one sounds the most like the sr60? it will be paired up with a fiio e11 amp.- qwerty99

iem under 200 u.s. dollars
being that the mc5 is so inexpencive compared to the other options, i can also afford to get a headphone amp to go with it. do you think it would be worth it to get a pocket amp such as fiio e5 or e11?- qwerty99
