Am I missing something and how is this set up? Do I need to get a sound card If I want to watch movies do I need a 5.1 sound card to go along with my set up?

I never seen anyone use an adapter to their amp like that. I am really turned off about getting the Beyers now since it's too much work to get them right. It's ******** man I tell ya. I am getting the headphones and the NFB-12 and that's it. I am done with this ****.

Why do I need this adapter again?

I Am going to order my Beyer DT880 250ohm and I need a good DAC/amp to power them. I came across the FiiO7/E9 combo as well as the Maverick D1. I heard the Maverick D1 isn't that great and I heard praise for the 7/E9 combo. I can go up to $250 but it has to have a DAC/amp because I have bad...

The only thing I am afraid of is that when I get my Maverick D1 DAC/AMP is that the bass might come out more in the Pros and the mids will be non existent.

I listen to old school hip/hop, hard trance, techno, instrumentals, and sometime classical. Do you think I should get the Pro's instead? I do like the coiled cable and sound stage isn't that big of a deal since I am listening to electronic really. Clamping force doesn't bother me since I like it...

What is your verdict between the 600 version and the 250 of the premiums? Would and STX amp these well or should I downgrade to the 250 for more money? I don't know what would be more worth it, a dedicated headphone amp or the STX. People on Head-fi claim that a regular headphone amp is better than the STX, so I am truly torn.

The 600 Omhs are cheaper on amazon, but do I need the 600 ohm version or should the 250 ohms be better? What is better PRO or Regular from 2005?
