Amped Sennheiser PC350's still sounding very tinny

I have Sennheiser PC350's, and for a while have been running them through an HT Omega Claro, un-amped, using the Soft Rock EQ setting to make them sound good. I recently picked up a SMSL SD-793II DAC/AMP to hook the 350's up to, and now they're sounding as tinny as they did before I had the EQ...

Picked up an SMSL SD-973II DAC/AMP for my Sennheiser PC350s/PS4, not getting any audio

I recently bought an SMSL SD-973II DAC/AMP for my PC350's and PS4, with a digital RCA cable running from the SMSL to the HT Omega Claro in the rear of my PC and the optical SPDIF cable going to the PS4. It's a bit of an odd setup, but I get better line in quality with the Claro and better microphone quality on the Xonar (the mic sounds like garbage on the Claro)...

    Sennheiser PC-350 Mic Hiss

I use Sennheiser PC-350's coupled with an HT Omega Claro sound-card, and I notice a good amount of background hiss whenever I monitor my mic. When I turn mic boost off it eliminates the hiss, but I'm barely audible. A friend tells me the hiss could be because my sound card isn't grounded. Would...

Sennheiser PC 350 ear Pad Replacement

I've got a set of Sennheiser PC 350's and the ear pads are getting a bit frayed. I know you can call up Sennheiser and order new ones, I just don't know how to remove the current earpads and am afraid of tearing them. Any advice would be awesome, thanks.
