I have the denon d2000 paired with the e9. Do I really need the e7?

Got the 80ohm version due to good reviews for games, so now I want to get the best sound with the ps3. What amp and dac do I need?

I would like a pair of headphones for music (hip hop, gangsta rap, r and b) and playing games. Heard the dt770/80 is a good phone for my needs.   Thoughts will be appreciated.
