Thanks for this post. Very informative and a learning process for me. I have not actually heard either (A5+ or Rockit 5) and going striclly by research and reviews - mainly here on head-fi. Choosing between the two isn't gonna be easy.

I think I've narrowed my search between: AudioEngine A5+ ($400) and Rokit 5's ($300) Leaning towards A5+ . . . . . "studio monitors" scare me a bit after reading how "unforgiving" they are. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
