From the forum none has complained about ds8's sound. In fact they rave about it sounding very very good. But since they are non-audiophiles, leon's opinion is far more valuable to us. Hope this helps.

Hi, I finally decided to abandon the mp3s and move to MD. And I have a question for you MD experts. Is there any difference in sund quality between a MD recorded on the deck recorder with type R and a MD recorded on portable recorder with type R? I'm not sure if I should buy a deck and a MD...
