Couldn't help myself , so wired up the parafeed setup with my gapped OPT's .Lost all my low bass but could hear the difference in the midrange and the treble.Think I better get some un-gapped OPT's. Thanks again Dsavitsk

Ok, thanks for the link! Is it worth going down the nongapped OPT plus anode choke vs the gapped OPT with no anode choke?

Thank you for the reply, so does that mean I use the choke as the OPT to carry the DC current and couple the OPT with a capacitor to carry the signal?

So still trying to make sense of it, I'm guessing I run the choke in series with OPT which should increase gain to tube and filter some HF noise??? Anyone?

Hi all, this is a newbie question I imagine but I have been reading about anode chokes and grid chokes lately and how many people are getting great results, well anyway I have purchased a pair of 50H 100ma anode/plate chokes. Now I'm trying to figure out where to put them? Do I put the choke...

First I must clarify that the sound I chase is a more musical lush sound but still maintaining a sense of transparency and openess. I once had mundorf silver and oils in 0.22uF and also the two 0.01uF(which a still there) and 1.5uF for the outputs. What was achieved was a very black back ground...

The Duelands are 2.2uF on the output stage.

Things kinda got out of control with all the modding but it's been a fun journey. It really does sound amazing though . Would be interesting to do a comparison with a unmodded Havana . I'll be kickin myself if I can't hear a difference!
