Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
ljokerl, just wanted to say you've done a downright amazing job here! Keep up the good work! Earbuds are always hard as no store will ever let you try them for obvious reasons, a review/comparison like this is a godsend. As I personally don't want to spend more than $30 because I don't want...- W3ird_N3rd

Reinforce your Philips HP1000 / SHP9000!
My headphone is still in one piece, probably because I reinforced it. And finally my thread appears. I figure it deserves a kick now.- W3ird_N3rd

Could my problem (http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/512478/where-s-my-thread) be related to this? I read something here about pre-screening, maybe that's it?- W3ird_N3rd

Where's my thread?
Quite a while back (31 july 2010 it appears) I tried to post a thread. It was about reinforcing Philips headphones in the DIY section. I'm still waiting for it to appear. I have no idea why this thread is illegal, I tried to write up something helpful. I do appear to have a photo album...- W3ird_N3rd

Reinforce your Philips HP1000 / SHP9000!
I've got both the Philips HP1000 and SHP9000. They sound pretty good (especially for the money) but they have one, very big, downside: they are really fragile. I've already had to trash one HP1000 because it simply disintegrated. The weakest link on the HP1000 are some screws in plastic...- W3ird_N3rd

Thanks And wonderful.. The HP1000 is beginning to sound better Bass seems to be a little stronger now.. I wonder what happened. Result of burn-in or the brain's built in equaliser.. Or both. It might be not such a bad buy after all.- W3ird_N3rd

DT880 : Amplification required?
Well.. Maybe we can forget about all of this. I've been stupid (and still am, I guess), I feel bad about it, I made the wrong choice. Please don't blame me, I searched though google and forums for days to make this decision. I had no idea I could be so wrong. It's true I couldn't find a lot...- W3ird_N3rd

DT880 : Amplification required?
I wasn't sure if I had to start this thread in Amplification of Headphones, but since I'm asking about a specific headphone, decided to go for headphones. Since the cable of my AKG K101 is a bit broken (my fault ), I'm looking for something new. The Beyerdynamic DT880 looks interesting to me...- W3ird_N3rd
