I've been seeing good things about Logitech Ultimate Ears...the debate with those is whether the 600s for $95 are superior enough over the 500s for $62.

Mostly jazz, electronic. Not a basshead, but I do like a good "thump" to it. Not looking to analyze vocals tediously.

Any recommendations on a good set of earbuds then? I'm much less researched there. I know the Bose IE2 are perhaps worth looking at?

Does anyone have a recommendation for something in the $80-$120 price range that would serve such a purpose? Is it just not really possible to get some great-sounding cans for the library? Haha.
