Dropped my T90 by accident, left driver is now dead. Opened it up and... How am I supposed to repair this? Warranty is dead too. :(- madriz

From memory, the T70s (I'm assuming they're not much different to T70ps) are not similar to the T90s. I found the T70s to be "sterile", too neutral and boring for my taste. The T90s however are fun sounding. Also the T90s seems to be a little bit hotter in the treble regions compared to the T70s...- madriz

Won't getting a vacuum near the driver would destroy your headphones? I wouldn't suggest that method.- madriz

I'm using DT880 pads with my T90 right now, can't really hear the sonic differences tbh. Or maybe I just didn't care to. :p Comfort might depends on the user.- madriz

I agree with the amps used which makes the T90 seems to be very "fickle". Recently a friend tried my T90 with his setups. Can't really remember what it was but Aune T1 is one of them. He said the T90 was very bright and he can't bear listening to it at all. Another friend tried with his...- madriz

Heard the Alpha Dogs and LCD-X the other day with Oppo HA-1 amp. I'd choose T90 over LCD-X as to me the T90s sounds more fun. I'd definitely get the Alpha Dogs as they sound soooo smooth compared to the T90s. Though the T90s definitely win when it comes to treble (which can be a turn on or...- madriz

I don't really know, I never dropped them for sure. My suspect goes to the Omega stand, it seems to exert pressure to the block. It started with a small chip/crack and quickly get worse over time.- madriz

Those blocks on my T90 seems to be hanging on it's life, especially the one the left driver. If I take it off or just break it away, will the locking mechanism falls off?- madriz

Can't really recall except that the treble on the HD700 is much more tamer to my ears and the bass on the T90 slams harder, but it's like many months ago when I've AB'd them both. Someone who own both T90 and HD700 would be able to give a better comparison. I would also say I find the HD700...- madriz

The last time I've listened to T70, they were very boring. Totally different compared to T90. I actually liked the HD700 but it was much more pricier than the T90 when I had to make the decision. Wouldn't say I would prefer one over another though.- madriz

Do you really think I could buy cheaper headphones, simulate them as a higher end headphones and get the same/close level of quality? I'm sorry IMO it's just all bull and placebo. I'm not the kind of person who would go into this kind of argument but this really got on my nerves.- madriz

Yeah. I find them to be a very good upgrade from DT880, it's everything how I wanted my DT880 to be. I've almost bought a T1 but I'm glad I've jumped the gun and bought the T90. They're my personal endgame headphones. The only thing left to upgrade is probably my amp/dac.- madriz

Just wondering what kind of amp/dac are you guys using. Graham Slee Solo and Centrance DACport LX here. I tried to go back to DT880, it just doesn't cut it anymore.- madriz

Bass and mids are definitely better compared to DT880. More body, impact and less v-shaped. The Beyer house sound still remains. As for details IMO the T90 is a step or two above DT880, and yes I do own both of them. Soundstage on the T90 is also much wider (some might call them artificial).- madriz
