aong, i have the mx500s and just got the HD 280s, and although i haven't done any sort of comparitive listening i think you might be pleased with the 280s...i think they're super comfortable with superb sound.

hi all, i briefly read that the turtle beach santa cruz has a line out AND a headphone out, so you can plug in your headphones while you still have your speakers in place? is this true?? also, if this is the case, would it matter where you plugged in your headphones? would the line out...

Sennheiser HD280: Unexploited (for me anyways)

just got my 280s a few days ago, and although i haven't done any extensive listening, i like the sound and i like the comfort. we'll see what happens... btw, i'm running these out of a soundblaster live and a sony d-ej611 pcdp...would an amp make me that much happier??

sony mdr-ex70s are supposed to be great for isolation, decent for sound, and can be had for $40 shipped: http://www.electronicsemall.com/sonmdrexfolo.html other than that there's the sennheiser mx500s which are probably the BEST earbuds under $60, they sound great but don't block a whole...

i read that 890 review and it was pretty damn good, along with delenda's other reviews i've seen. why hasn't it gotten a permanent spot??
