Shame our ear's can not be upgraded like we do with phones & amps, it could explain why some here differences others can not.

No not with that equipment, it takes really high end equipment to notice cable differences, even then it can be subtle.

The 02 is cheap enough to give a try but I think something more powerful would be better, not battery powered, I dont actually see the point of the 02, its portable but not going to easily fit in a pocket, it claims to drive 600ohm headphones but I dont know of anyone that would wear those on...

I think you would want to avoid any battery portable amps.   I thought a good amp was about amping the signal, bass mid & treble should all remain equal, if one amp gives more bass than another then it could be either that the weaker bass amp is just a poor amp, or that the one giving more...

Sennheiser HD650 could be what your looking for then, they are not bass monsters but are more bassy than the ones you have, more refined too.

Thats the trouble with reviews like those of headphonia, some assume because its a professional review or at the very least a guy who has more experience that it must be correct, but its just one guys opinion, obviously his ear/taste didnt care for the concerto amp, so a poor review is kinda...
