Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Put a set of medium Sony Triple comforts up for sale I bought for my Kaiser 10s, they just didn't fit my ear quite right. https://www.head-fi.org/threads/sony-ep-tc50m-medium-triple-ear-tips-20-00.902194/- Varekai

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Okay update to a previous post, Sony triple comforts did not work at all for me. They're right at the size of being either too small to fill my ear or too big to go in deep enough, but they just fall out. I finally got a email back from Soundmolds and they can do the k10s because they've done...- Varekai

I'm surprised the Gold X Silver cable wasn't standard, unless this new Kahn cable is better? I love my Gold X Silver, but you don't hear much talk about it.- Varekai

Thanks those are the only tips I haven't tried. I read about them in a tip shootout guide, but when I searched them I got a handful of different model numbers so wasn't sure which ones.- Varekai

Has anyone found any custom silicone ear tip molds for the k10u? I only found one company online that might make them for these everything else doesn't fit noble. I'm having a hell of a time finding tips that fit my ear and don't fall around while creating a seal. Abs I've tried almost every...- Varekai

Okay I have a question about ear tips and sorry if this had been discussed too many pages to skim. I think I've found the the best seal with final type E tips (props to who mentioned them) even tho they back out a bit from my ear drum and feel like they're getting loose, when I go to remove...- Varekai

Toxic Cables - Impressions and Discussion Thread
In the market for a new cable for my Noble k10u. Did a bunch of reading in this forum. I recently bought a copper litz headphone lounge cable but it's not for me. I don't like how warm it made everything but I'd be afraid that a pure silver cable would make the music too bright, but I also do...- Varekai

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
So I actually never thought of doing an a/b test with balanced vs unbalanced, and when I got my headphone lounge cable I did have an adapter made for 2.5 to 3.5, so I tried last night listening to a few of my favorite songs between balanced and unbalanced such as black magic woman, take flight...- Varekai

Lol yeah I got you. I don't know anyone who has cables to test, and there's really no high end audio places around me. Maybe I'll just wait for the noble gold silver cable to come back in Stock. Maybe I don't even need an upgraded cable lol. Just trying to get the best experience out of under...- Varekai

I've been hearing that lately, that balanced isn't really worth it, didn't know that was limited to AK players, which is what I have ak240.- Varekai

So any recommendations on a 2.5 balanced cable that's not going to make them to warm or bright? Or is the stock cables the best route to go? And is balanced really that worth it ?since I haven't gotten my balanced stock cables in yet can't compare the stock balanced to unbalanced to see if it's...- Varekai

Would you say then that Ted's cable is closer to the stock cables sound signature? I really don't want it brighter so the moon audio may be out for me if that's the case, but I do love the bass. Just don't like the warmth the copper cable added.- Varekai

That's good to know, probably why I don't like the copper cables warmth as much. Thinking of trying either silver litz from headphone lounge or the silver V2 from moon audio since they claim it doesn't change the sound signature. The gold X silver cable from the noble looks really nice, too...- Varekai

You could always get a copper cable to warm it up slightly. I got my massdrop k10u and got impatient waiting on the balanced cable I paid extra for, so got a headphone lounge copper litz balanced cable. Warmed it up a bit, actually not sure if I like it more than the stock cable. I do kind of...- Varekai

The Astell & Kern AK240
I never heard of the group before, just looked them up, nice music! The one I listed to reminds of a song I usually get lost in, which is Jubel by Klingade.- Varekai

Sounds good. I was going to get a set of silver cables from headphone lounge for the shures, but if I wind up liking the nobles more than I'll get the coppers for them. Definitely not keeping both headsets.- Varekai

It's not that eq is important, sounds great as is, just would like to increase bass. Can't afford the 380, only got the 240 because I got it at a third of it's original price and really couldn't find a bad review on it.- Varekai
