Wow guys! I think you guys have sold me on the HD555. I won't be using the cans outside of my home environment. I'll probably stick to earbuds when I'm on the move. What is the sound signature like for the HD555.

Can the HD555 be able to be ran on an unamped source (ie. cdplayer/MP3)? I've looked at the HD555 price, they seem pretty close to the 580/590s, compared to those two, how does 555 fare? In terms of comfort, SR60 or HD555 or DT231 and finally, HD555 vs Grados SR-60.
