Anything recommended in the $200 and under range (used or new) for my 580's? I only use my cans about 3 hours a week, usually during warm-up time for my system's tube amp.   Thanks!

The UPS man dropped off my new Sennheiser 580's today. One of the first things that crossed my mind (after the surprise of a 1/8" plug rather than 1/4" on the cable) was having no idea how I was going to store them. Obviously not in the crappy packaging. A wooden box? What do you folks store...

Does anyone know where I can order an "element" replacement for my 30 year-old 414's? Sennheiser's site doesn't list this model anymore for anything but pads and cables. Thanks!

I'm soon ordering a pair of Senn 580's, and need something longer than the 10ft cord. What should I get? An extension cord? Replacement cable? I'd like to do this on the cheap, since I only use headphones about 10% of the time.

I've owned a pair for about 15 years, and like them a lot. The foam pads are no longer being made, but the yellow Sennheiser 414 pads work just fine as a replacement. My question is: how do these phones rate sonically? I'm thinking of buying a set of Sennheiser HD-580's, and was wondering if...
