Note that Shure's warranty policy for personal audio (which the SE line is) only warranties purchases from authorized dealers and only to the original purchaser. They changed up last year to be more restrictive. I am still going to get one, just paying full retail.

Also note that unless they are authorized dealers (Amazon is an authorized dealer but the 3rd parties are most likely not) Shure will not warranty them if you have a problem. Shure altered their policy last year to include only authorized dealers. Given their cabling issue, I would want that...
