Any way around the LCD-2 clamping force?
The metal inside the headband is 'trainable.' My LCD-2 r.2's were a bit tight when I first got them back in August. I have a relatively large head. I gently bent the metal with my hands to open them up a bit. I can wear them now for 2-3 hours without any discomfort. As you have heard...- pixelgrunt

96 kHz 24bit integer output via USB to Burson HA-160d on latest OS X not working [SOLVED]
OK, some help from the very helpful staff at Burson got me up and running. The trick is to set 24/96 for output, but 16/96 for input. It seems that OS X reserves the bandwidth on the UBS chain for input, even though the DAC will never use it. I'm not sure why it matters what is in the input (why...- pixelgrunt

96 kHz 24bit integer output via USB to Burson HA-160d on latest OS X not working [SOLVED]
Thanks for the help. So... when was the first month? I bought mine in August 2011. I read the 6Moons review from November of 2010, surely mine can't be one of the early versions, right?- pixelgrunt

Greetings all, first, thanks to everyone who takes the time to post on this forum in any category. I've been a long time lurker, and I've learned much in my time here. I searched for a similar problem to mine with no avail, hence the new thread. As the subject indicates, I can't get 96...- pixelgrunt

You know you're an audiophile when...
Quote: This kills me. Do people think that the power coming from the wall is worthy of a $1000 power cable? Or am I missing something? Are people like this purchasing ka-jillion dollar power conditioners to plug these hyper-expensive cables into? The outlet in the wall is the connection...- pixelgrunt

Audeze LCD-2 Orthos
Hello again, I'm the newbie who played hooky waiting for my HA-160D yesterday. I went for a long bike ride in the morning and the parcel was waiting for me on the porch when I returned(!). I immediately took it in and connected it to my iMac via USB (lossless only tyvm) and my r.2 LCD-2s. I knew...- pixelgrunt

Audeze LCD-2 Orthos
Quote: I ordered my new LCD-2's (YAY!) early last week and they shipped out same day. Two days later I was listening to them. I wish I could sing the same praises for the reseller of my Burson Audio HA-160D. I ordered it the same day and still haven't received it. It's scheduled to be...- pixelgrunt
