Okay I just received an Audinst HUD-MX1 that I purchased from a private seller here on head-fi. I couldn't be more happy with it! It does everything I need right now and when I upgrade headphones I will buy a separate amp and use the Audinst as a DAC.

I would say that the beats are the epitome of most teens today...superficial. They emphasize looks and "swag" over everything else. That being said, if I was rich I would probably own a pair just to look cool in public (without ever listening to them) .
