Audio Technica ATH- ES 10 Impressions Thread
Would this still work with custom eadpads? And what does each material do for each part kf the sound? Should i try and measure the sound of them with the new pads, or is it better to try and aim for a sound with the mod? If any of that makes sense.- jcamui420

Mine arrived 2 weeks ago after an issue with the delivery, and was away from home so have only been able to use them today for the first time Massive thanks to vesper audio for getting another pair sent out. I've been using Koss KSC-75 with pe band and yaxi pads for last few weeks so i still...- jcamui420

Memory Foam EarPads?
I'm looking at getting some custom earpads from VesperAudio. They have a memory foam option, but I've not had any experience with memory foam earpads. Has any had any memory foam pads before and how do they compare to normal foam pads? Especially for long usage. Thanks- jcamui420

Thanks. I'm looking at the options now for VesperAudio custom earpads. Can't decide between Leather or Alcantara as I've heard Alcantara is more comfortable, but leaks a bit more sound. And the ES10 are already headphones that leak quite a bit. Also considering gel cooling, but heard mixed...- jcamui420

3 questions. Which DAC/Amp.combo do I get for this. Preferably something that can be portable and desktop one. And £100 or less. Secondly, is Bill-P's mod recommended? Third, for earpads do I do the full size mod or just get esw9 pads?- jcamui420

The Somic Thread--50mm driver open air full size cans pop out of nowhere, sound amazing
Just a quick comment/question about these headphones. These are meant to be open headphones write? Well they hardly leak any sound and I can't really hear much outside noise when I wear them so have I got a different version? Also is there a way to make them more open?- jcamui420

Yeah, i tried it on different sources, and its the same. It might be that i'm not used to separation or full size headphones, but vocals don't sound in the centre. I've already contacted the amazon seller so we will see.- jcamui420

oh right, my bad. Sometimes I wonder if its just hearing soundstage and larger instrument separation is what's making it sound like that, but then vocals are always on the right- jcamui420

Okay thanks. It's just I got the MH463 but I think left and right are unbalanced so I was wondering whether the v2 fixed this and whether it would be worth getting the V2 instead.- jcamui420
