What about what PurpleAngel was saying with the Line-out cables? What sort of a difference would that give? Quote:

I don't have it at super-high volumes, but I guess I'll get the E11 just in case. Never know when you'll need to make your ears bleed Are there any sound quality differences between the different Fiio models that have been mentioned? Also, Any ideas about the Rockbox ordeal? If I would be...

Here lies a multitude of questions: Fostex T50RP, Fiio E11/7, iPod 5th gen... Yes. I am a newb.

As the Title says! I am receiving a pair of Fostex T50RPs (Was going to get a pair of ATH-M30s but the orthodynamic driver of the T50RPs intrigue me somewhat) as a gift some time soon. I am intending on using them as a portable set, as my SoundMagic P50s just died and I haven't had a decent...

Help with buying cheap closed headphones

Asking for recommendations again, except this time, with buying closed style headphones. A friend is looking to buy a pair for under $100, and he says he wants them "realistic, very, but they can lean towards warm if the have to" Any ideas?

Need help with purchasing new cheap IEMs

Well, the Shure SE215s are about $120 on eBay, which is way out of my price range.  I kinda have to rely on reviews at the moment, I only have about 4 weeks to get these headphones (don't want to be stuck with the horrible Nokia or iPod ones) and I live out in the middle of nowhere so it's not...

Need help with purchasing new cheap IEMs

Nah I'm not really worried about heaps of bass, the CX550s had a bit too much for my liking. Guess it's definitely the PL50s then Thanks

Need help with purchasing new cheap IEMs

Doing some research on those PL50s, and I've read that they are a bit weak as far as bass is concerned; and I'd like if anything to have decent bass to suit my music (Classic/heavy metal) which I like with a bit of bass. Are there any options in my price range that are good to use for long...

Need help with purchasing new cheap IEMs

$80 was the cheapest I could here, guess it must be import issues.  Do you know of any sites I may be able to get them cheaper? I need them within 4 weeks, 5 at the latest.

Need help with purchasing new cheap IEMs

Comfort, mainly. I've been reading reviews on the PL50s and they're a decent price on eBay (I think?) at $80 incl postage.    Unfortunately, I can't get a hold of any Hippo VBs. The range on eBay around here seems to be a bit small in my price range for IEMs that aren't Sennheisers.

Need help with purchasing new cheap IEMs

Unfortunately, None of the Silver Bullet ones on eBay (my only way of purchasing these IEMs) at the moment, but there is Nuforce NE-7Ms for $53 USD incl. postage.  Also, I don't mind spending a bit over $60 if it's worth it, maybe tops of $80

Need help with purchasing new cheap IEMs

Hi, As the title states, I'm looking for a cheap (around $60AUD) pair of IEMs. I'm going on school camp soon and am going to be spending a lot of time in a bus, so I want them to be comfortable to wear as well. They need to be strong, and sound relatively flat, although I don't mind if the bass...
