I currently have a Schiit Lyr 2 as well as the headphone amp in my Modwright LS-100 Preamp.  I'm thinking of trying a pair of TH900s, has anyone ever tried them with either of these amps?

I see that you had both a TH-900 and Lyr 2 at some point, have you ever tried that pair?  I suspect it would be dangerously powerful for the TH-900

WOW!  That is quite an extensive shootout.  

I'm thinking of upgrading my PCs, but am wondering what the sweat spot is as far as price.  The price point after which, you see diminishing returns.  for example a $1000 is certainly not twice as good as a $500 cable.

Any others compare these two?

I remember when high end SPDIF digital cables were meant with the same skepticism.  Don't knock it until you try it, it makes a difference.

I have an AP2 with an AQVOX power supply hooked up to it.  I am thinking of sending it off to get pure power installed.  Has anyone ever compared PP to AQVOX, and if so is it worth it?

Sorry, i meant the Lyr, just edited it.  I love the MF/Denon combo, I'd just like to see how it stacks up to the LCD, and a lot of people say you need the right amp to get the most out of them

I currently have an EE minimax (non-plus version), but have become increasingly interested in the Metrum and Rega DACs recently as a potential replacement. What are people's opinions on this? Would either of these DACs truly be an upgrade? I listen to all redbook, so oversampling isn't an issue...

Really thinking about pulling the trigger on the musical fidelity M1 HPA.  Seems like a muscular/dynamic amp that will work well with the Denon's because of the low output impedance.  Supposedly it can drive virtually anything.  What do you guys think?  Wise choice?
