Amp recommendations to pair headphones to my record player
Hi, I'm looking for some recommendations for an amp that I can listen to my Audio Technica LP3 through my headphones. Due to circumstances, I can only listen to my records through headphones (Senn HD165 / HD25) and the only amp I have is the FiiO E10K, which when ran through the RCA doesn't...- Pand4

Looking for a decent over ear set (budget)
Quick google search with the site, but also https://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/www.aliexpress.com The only one it seems from checking the site with a decent rating selling them is...- Pand4

Looking for a decent over ear set (budget)
Nice one guys, seems the Pro 80 are quite favourable. Is there any difference at all between them and the rebranded (Gemini HSR-1000)? Seems to be quite difficult to get the Takstar at all in Germany, unless I'm missing something? They're always on then currently unavailable on Amazon UK too...- Pand4

Looking for a decent over ear set (budget)
Hi, sure will answer what I can... Budget isn't that much, ideally fund them through selling my current headphones (seems the hd25 can go anywhere around 100€ currently 2nd hand) + maybe a little more from my pocket. I'm not bothered by open or closed, as they'll be primarily for...- Pand4

Looking for a decent over ear set (budget)
Hi folks, I'm looking to replace 1, possibly 2 headphones that I have. First of all, the PC 151, as much as I like the sound, functionality etc, the way they fit on my ears are a little annoying so I'm looking for over-ear type. Microphone is not essential as I could always get a clip on...- Pand4

SansaClip+ Rockbox Impressions thread
Finally got hold of another clip+ after my previous one went due to the jack problems. Initially done the trick putting a bit of card inside to hold the contacts together but the solder went on all points where the jack connects to the pcb :( Need to play around with the settings now it's...- Pand4

The Fiio X3 Thread.
^ Why don't you buy it from the site directly to Denmark?? Just checked for the UK and with p+p comes to roughly £115 which is still £35 cheaper than average prices at the moment!- Pand4

None really, I hadn't made my mind up between padded or padless though I guess padded could be a bit more beneficial.- Pand4

Boosting the right channel audio?
Hi folks, Not sure if I should have placed this in here or help and recommendations. Anyhow, I'm looking for a way (on the computer for now..) to boost the audio that's coming from the right channels, if that makes sense? I can lower the left side down a bit in the default audio properties...- Pand4

The Fiio X3 Thread.
How's the battery life with the latest FW? Originally they stated around 10hrs but are there any improvements now? Couldn't really see much talk about it, or maybe my searching sucks!- Pand4

Searching for a new DAP on a budget?
Yup, understood that. Would be more for the amp I suppose with the Clip+ but using the E17's DAC on the computer. I'm thinking for more portability(?) and simplicity to have something like the X3 as it's all there. Just need to read a little more about it I guess.- Pand4

Searching for a new DAP on a budget?
Hmm, was more edging towards purchasing the DX50 but after reading it can't be used as a USB DAC and has no options to control the balance on the channels like the X3 I'm more inclined to get that now. Question is... Would it worth saving a little cash by getting a Clip+ and a DAC/AMP like...- Pand4

The iBasso DX50 Thread - Latest firmware: 1.9.5 - June 30, 2016
Is there a way to balance the L/R channels? Noticed the X3 has it but couldn't find any results when searching on here. Or is the only way to rockbox? Undecided on my purchase due to this, but hopefully can convince myself it won't be too bad- Pand4

hd25-1 impressions thread
Besides the BTG stuff are there any others worth looking in to? I don't mind postage from the US but if it's from the UK even better! I love my HD25's and use 'em daily on a ~2hr bus journey but haven't been able to compare it with upgraded cables. Could be worth looking at.- Pand4

Comparison: FiiO X3 vs. iBasso DX50
Some nice posts with the comparisons, I'm currently in 2 minds about getting either. What would you say could be more suited towards metal music? I saw you mention about the bass on the X3, is it easily rectified by lowering the bass range in the menu? Would be playing them through the HD25's.- Pand4

Searching for a new DAP on a budget?
Sounds good. Had used my clip+ with a CMOY I was given, I find to be a nice addition to power the HD25 but looking to upgrade that at some point so I think having something more 'all in one' like the X3 would be pretty reasonable otherwise. Seems it has a channel balance feat on there too which...- Pand4

Searching for a new DAP on a budget?
To be fair I was really pleased with the clip+, I see there isn't a whole lot of difference with the clip zip from some reviews. Anything else to consider? I haven't had any experience with the likes of Cowon, Fiio etc. I'm currently looking up the Fiio X3, need to have a bit more of a...- Pand4

Searching for a new DAP on a budget?
After my Sansa clip+ broke (headphone jack problem) I'm now left with an old Philips MP3 player to listen to my music on whilst travelling. I'm after something relatively cheap, I don't have a figure but I guess <£100 for now but we'll see. The thing I loved about the clip+ when rockboxed...- Pand4

SansaClip+ Rockbox Impressions thread
Finally sorted out my syncing problems after going through the settings, wooo! File transfer is still slow as though, so will have to stick to single folder transfers for now. Clip+ rockboxed seems to power my hd25-1 ii fine, surprising how much power it has for such a small device...- Pand4
