Headphone Amp Gain for low impedance cans - how much is too much?
I bought the dragonfly black recently and found that it made some very notable improvements to my low impedance and high sensitivty headphones (NAD Viso HP50s: 32 Ohm sensitivity= 106.3 dB at 1 mW, Brainwavz HM5s: 64 ohms, sensitivity= 105 dB at 1 mW). I'd like to keep the DFB for portable/work...- Cheffy

Recommendation for 1st open-back headphone - HE400i/s, AKG-7xx, X2, M655?
Hi all, I've been a closed headphone guy for a while. My first set of decent cans were (of course) the ATH-M50s, followed by Brainwavz HM5s, and eventually the NAD VISO HP50s. As you can see, I'm a budget minded purchaser. I'm pretty much "done" with my ATH-M50s, the sound signature grates me...- Cheffy

Help narrowing my search for $200-$300 phones - NAD VISO HP50?
Background I'm looking for some advice on what to buy next. I'm a long time lurker and don't consider myself an audiophile, but I am particular about my sound. I currently own the Brainwavz HM5 and ATH-M50s, in part from advice from this website in the past. I've never been very impressed...- Cheffy

ATH-M50 - Ear pad discomfort - Srh-840 and 940 replacements? ATH-M50 Velour part 2?
Loving my new ATH-M50s, but finding the ear cup too small - it presses on the edges of my ears, and after an hour or so it becomes downright painful. Plus, they're not deep enough - I can feel my ears against the inner foam. I don't think stretching the headband will relieve this much. So I'm...- Cheffy

MEElectronics M6 - muffled/hollow sound? Fit problem or bad set?
I just bought these the other day, great price and kept hearing about how good they were for the money. I've been havng a bit of difficulty with getting them to fit/sit right, but doing better now. Need to use the triple or double flanges to get a good seal, triple more consistent than double...- Cheffy

Need new headphones- ATH-M50, HD-448, HD-280 Pro, Sony MDR V6
I am looking for a new pair of headphones to listen to music at work etc. I am no audiophile, but really want a good set of closed-set headphones for under $125 and I am placing comfort high on my list as I will be wearing them for hours at a time. Sound isolation is important as I work in an...- Cheffy
