Jeez patent law is funny, just because it is driving a headphone, a system (active crossover) that is common in a high end hifi, infringes on a patent.   So if JH were to market it as an active crossover 'pre-amp' with phase correction of each output channel designed to drive a multi channel...

I don't want the Solo to charge the Ipod I want some way to charge the ipod while using the solo i.e. external battery and cable designed to plug into the solo, ipod and charger.  If this is not possible I wonder are there any mods that put a larger battery in the ipod??

Has anybody figured out how to wire the Solo and Ipod to an portable battery type external charger to charge the Ipod while still playing to the solo?

I hadn't ordered a JH3A (Thank God) I was lurking on this forum waiting for them to sort their crap out.  I was originally intending on getting JH16s but I liked the concept of the JH3A so I held off for a bit.  Now I will wait for revision 2 before I consider the JH3A.

Hey Warp08 did you have the JH3A long enough to evaluate battery life?

They probably have 20 or so amps...but they will have to cater to the journos/reviewers and musicians first regardless of who ordered first.  I am certainly looking forward to some reviews to help me in my decision on whether to buy one of these units.  Would have been nice if it could hook up...
