Jazz/smooth jazz headphone advice
Hey all, I'm in the market for a pair of headphones. Budget is $600. I listen to mostly jazz, smooth jazz, classical, and punk rock. I'd prefer closed backs as I travel often. A warmer, smooth, and rich sound signature is preferred. I'd be powering them with a THX Onyx DAC/AMP. Some...- bidea117

Aurisonics ROCKETS: Impressions Thread
Count me in on getting a pair when they start shippping! I know the wait has been long thus far but I am sure that they will be well worth the wait AND they're made in the USA!!! I think the red/blue stripped cords add a sense of uniqueness to a world of black corded IEMs.- bidea117

Tube like sound portable headphone amp
I know it's a lot to ask just wondering if there's anything like that out here besides the Decware Zen Head which sounds really good and like a tube amp but doesn't justify the price for a portable amp in my view.- bidea117

Portable headphone amp
Any advice for a "tube/warm sounding" portable solid state headphone amp? My price range is from $100-$200. It doesn't matter if it had a DAC.- bidea117

I'm locked in between them and the A700 because I've heard so may great reviews of them yet the 770 Pro has great bass and highs and isolates very well. Quote:- bidea117

I'm not that concerned with their size. The Beyers are pretty big as well but not on the same scale as the ATs are. Quote:- bidea117

How's the bass, mids, and highs on the 770? In your view, is the Pro a better headphone than the consumer variant? Head open headphones generally don'y provide a good bass thus a tight seal but make up for it in their mids and highs. Quote:- bidea117

The Behringer does require an external but it is also can be powered by 4 AAAs. I've heard that the Pros have a different sound to them than their non Pro counterparts even if they have the same Ohms. Quote:- bidea117
