Depends on whether u r fussy abt the headphones' signature preferences. If you ain't, then save the $ and get the 555, considering the price differences.   I don't think the 558 are really much better than 555; it's mainly the signature differences me thinks. I agree that 555 would be nicer...

Just say tell them your budget... and gotta try 'em all!   ...and of course, bring your own music player.  We all have different music tastes. ;D   Jaben often has bundles (like earphones with amp, etc), so ask the staff about them too.

I own the HD25 too - it's very forward sounding. Like the previous posters, Senns 598 is laid back (i had these too) - which is very unlike the HD25. imo, senns 598 and beyer 880 are somewhat similiar in terms of signature - though 880 sounds a bit fuller to me.   I think HD25 doesn't sound...

Listened to both before. I rather take Beats. The beats ain't /that/ bad. I don't like the signature of M50... recessed mids.. eeek. But I wouldn't trade my HD25 for the Beats.
