The Audio Technica is a great pair of headphones (... almost like best for the buck) The bass is quite good, perfect amount for me. Not to much neither to little, but they lack on mids.   You could take a look at Shure SRH840 or Beyerdynamic DT770/80 ... Hope it helps

I got the same feeling myself. The M50 was also my first set of quality headphones and i heard sounds in the music i usually listed to that I have never heard before (Can not imagine me living without a high-end headphone now) The first track I heard with them was the Hans Zimmer - Batman Begins...

So i would not have trouble of lack of their "skills" if I would run a DT880 250 or 600 ohm's version on a Fiio Combo??

Thanks for the reply. It is either the Fuze original or clip, but i am worried that it might be to small. I am going to use it with either a e7 or e11 ... e7= the DAC e11= Better amp
