Sorry if there's an answer to this somewhere else, I searched and couldn't find anything, but anyway, I recently purchased the audio technica m50s and noticed that when they're plugged into my macbook pro's headphone jack there's a noise that i can best characterize as a high pitched hissing...

UPDATE: So I decided to order the Audio Technica ATH-M50 from amazon and I'm super excited to try them out, they should get to me Saturday. Thanks everyone for your help

mikop, do you think that the m50s will sound good unamped through my ipod/computer? I've been researching pretty heavily last night and today and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna buy them, I just wanted to hear your opinion on them unamped.
