I got my AKG K142HD's last tuesday evening. Got to say, sound quality was perfect, fit perfectly to my ears, and kept them fairly warm in the Norwegian cold. Until thursday... at about 9.35 on thursday, I have a study period, and I was quietly enjoying my new headphones when the left speaker...

ok, now the headphones are ordered But I am still concerned that my mp3 (really it is a cell phone) player is too weak to drive them? I am going to use them with a Sony Ericsson W995, and i know that on AKG's website it says that the headset can be used with mp3's and so on... Would I need...

I like a clean sound (have no idea how to say this) and a deep and solid bass wich is not too powerfull (like most people who listens to rap and hiphop would like)... It got to be able to handle high pitched guitar sounds, sort of sour like, and the bass drumms (double pedal bass mot slikely)...

Thank you :) Well... To answer the thing about the cold in norway... Have no idea how much it is in Farenheit (sorry if i mispelled it) but at the coldest point during the winter in Norway last winter it was about -42 degrees celsius... Cant remember what source it is, but i sort of know that...
