I am in the market for both a DAC and an Amp. Im new to the whole audio world and am pretty set on purchasing my first pair of grado's, the gs 1000s. Any suggestions on good DAC/Amp combo's that live up to their prices and are under six hundred dollars? 

So i'm pretty set on getting the grado gs 1000s. I have 800 bucks still. What headphone amp/ dac should I buy? Is there a particular brand or model that does the GS-1000s justice? Or will anything around 800 bucks suffice? 

So is there a particular brand that Grados (specifically high level {GS 1000s} ) sound best on? I've heard that Grado headphone amps suck.
